M3GAN Costume designs

In 2020 I had the opportunity to flesh out a lot of aspects of M3GAN for the awesome director Gerard Johnstone. This included an early series of looks and costume designs which were a lot of fun. Gerard wanted to pursue something more unexpected than a lot of existing killer doll tropes and come up with outfits that would be bright, sophisticated, and timeless yet not unbelievable for a really flashy eight-year-old to wear.

The idea was that you could buy your child the coolest, smartest best friend and her outfits would be just as sophisticated.
